Welcome to Shanghaid-Heart, probably DA's first and only club made for the pairing of Shen Woo and Duo Lon from King of Fighters 2003 and KOF XI.

Who are Shen Woo and Duo Lon?

Shen Woo is the eldest member of the KOF 2003 Hero Team and second-eldest member of the KOF XI Ash Team, a street ruffian from the rough streets of Shanghai whose fighting style is an amalgam of all the rough stuff he's experienced on the streets. No one really knows if Shen Woo is his real name, but he became known as "Shen Woo", the "fighting god" because of his rough brawling skills.

Duo Lon is one of the high-ranking members of the Hizoku clan/Flying Brigands. His fighting style is a combination of Piercing Pugilism of the Wailing Underworld and Preternatural Curse Combat, both of which are styles used by his father Ron, who betrayed the Hizoku clan. He is the second-eldest member of the KOF 2003 Hero team and one of the two male members of the KOF XI Rival Team alongside Benimaru Nikaido and Elisabeth Blanctorche, who is the only female on the team.

Why'd you pair these two up?

Each brings his own element to the pairing. Shen is the street-smart, spontaneous, wild half of the pair. Duo is the book-smart, level-headed, calm half of the pair.

Like the yin and the yang, both men are the opposite of the other, yet also have the elements of the other; This is to say that while Shen can be the boisterous and street-smart, he occasionally has those calm and booksmart qualities as well and that Duo, while usually quiet and book-smart, has some spontaneous and street-smart elements to himself. Shen is the light in the darkness of Duo's world and Duo is the darkness in the light of Shen's world -- each supports the other and brings a leveled balance to the other.

I have now determined that it's time for a contest [I purposely waited until we had at least 5 members], so...here goes for the members who plan to participate:
Winter Contest
Since it's winter [at least, in the northern hemisphere...], the premise of the contest is clear--draw Shen and Duo in a wintery situation, whether it's them by a fire, a snowball fight, exchanging holiday gifts, or even just them building a snowman. I'll throw up a promo in a sec to give you an example, but I want you all to come up with something original but wintery.

1st Prize -- Colored drawing, winner's choice, drawn by me [AKA ~HornfreaksSylvia11]/Equivalent awesomeness in fanfiction form if that's your preference to be put up on my alternate account.
2nd Prize -- Black and white drawing, 2nd-placer's choice/equivalent fanfiction [again, your choice.]
3rd Prize -- Sketch, 3rd-placer's choice/equivalent fanfiction [...prize-taker's choice as previously stated.]

You all have until February 10th--Judging begins on February 14, so get your entries in on time.
